Volleyball UKCC Level I Coach Education Course - Sunday 9th May
Following hot on the heels of the recent UKCC award, an SVA run CPD clinic session aimed at enhancing the skills of local coaches who are involved in coaching youngsters is to be held in Aberdeen at Shell Woodbank Facility, North Deeside Road on Sunday 9th May. The primary purpose is as a development clinic for local coaches combined with a development session for the junior players of the S1 - S3 age group and it will also be a base to enhance their skills.

Junior Player Volleyball Development Sessions - 18th April and 16th May
SVA run development sessions aimed at junior players born after September 1992 (male) and September 1993 (female) are to be held in Aberdeen at Portlethen Academy on Sunday 18th April and 16th May. The sessions are open to any players of any ability that fit the age criteria, the purpose being that ultimately a squad of players will go forward to represent Scotland at the UK School Games (UKSG) to be held this year in Newcastle in November. UKSG is a huge event and based on mini Olympic Games, volleyball being one of the sports in which the SVA is engaged. (www.ukschoolgames.com)
